At the Silsden site there is a fully equipped dental laboratory ensuring a timely service should you require any denture or crown and bridge work. Both sites have been recently refurbished and our Silsden site has full disabled access.

Chris qualified in 1980 from Newcastle University. He has worked locally in Airedale throughout his career, acquiring the Silsden practice in 1985 and opening Keighley in 1987. When he’s not farming, Chris enjoys caring for his patients many of whom he has treated for many years.

Nick qualified at Liverpool University in 2010. He completed his dental foundation training in Merseyside including numerous oral and maxillofacial surgical training posts. He returned to Yorkshire in 2013 to work alongside his father at the Harker Dental surgery. Nick aims to provide optimal dental care to all his patients and ensures the practice maintains its high standards of care.

Ann qualified at Liverpool University in 2010. She completed her dental foundation training at Liverpool Dental Hospital and has experience in paediatric oral and maxillofacial surgery. In 2013 she moved to Yorkshire and worked as a clinical teacher in the paediatric department at Leeds Dental Institute. Ann has been an associate and practice manager at Harker Dental since 2013 and always strives to deliver quality dentistry to all her patients.

Grace qualified from the University of Malaya in 1998. She worked in the Community Dental Service providing sedation and special care services in the UK for 15 years before joining general dental practice in 2015. She now splits her time between this practice and the University of Leeds where she teaches undergraduate dental students in Paediatric Dentistry since 2016. Grace obtained her MFDS(Glasgow) in 2018.

Gemma is a former pupil of Ilkley Grammar School. She graduated dentistry from the University of Leeds in 2008 and gained her MFDS RCS (Edin) in 2011.
Prior to joining C.J. Harker and associates she has worked in many different areas of dentistry including Paediatric dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Urgent care in Queenland Australia, as well as 8 years in General Practice in Leeds. Alongside working at the practice, she teaches at Leeds school of Dentistry and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
